Tried to render via backburner on my workstation but the same error again. I then tried to use a blank scene to make sure it wasn' something hiding in the current scene. I uninstalled my older 3dsmax version and vray version cleaned the folders and reinstalled 3dsmax2021 and vray 5.0. SubstancePreRenderCompat.ms and SubstancePostRenderCompat.ms It turned out that 3dsmax was launching but kept quitting when following scripts were opened or trying to be opened (popup window): I checked whether I can see which script is causing this error while connecting via RemoteDesktop.

During setup, the program creates a startup registration point in Windows in order to automatically start when any user boots the PC. The most common release is 1.1.0.003, with over 98 of all installations currently using this version.
